Somewhere inside all of those wires and tubing, there lives the soul of an adventurer. Murray the Motor Home is named after Bill Murray who drove a similar, yet better armed, version in the movie Stripes.

A 1977, 23-foot Birchhaven, Murray gets our little family where we need to go; he provides shelter from the heat, cold, rain and snow and serves as "Command Central."

While not necessarily a sentient being, Murray is, nevertheless, a trademark for the travelogue and a symbol of the open road.

What is it like to live in a motor home? Click on the image below for a 3-D tour of Murray's interior, our roaming "home-away-from-home."
